HUFS Global Trade Expert Incubating Program (GTEP, Director Baek Jae-Seung) was recognized for its excellent trade expert cultivation, as its 16th team students won multiple prizes at the nation’s major trade conferences and competitions held in 2022. The team’s wins included the 16th GTEP e-Commerce Competition held by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and Korea International Trade Association (KITA), 2022 Global e-Commerce School Competition held jointly by KITA and Korean Sanhak Foundation, and other open trade-related competitions. At these competitions, the team won the Grand Prize and Excellent Prize for the second year in a row.  

HUFS GTEP Director Baek said in his comments, “The 16th GTEP team students overcame travel challenges from COVID-19 and flew to other countries for their program activities, gaining more experience than the 15th team and adding more vitality to our GTEP program. I support the future of these students who will start their new careers as trade experts after participating in our activities that broadened their academic knowledge and on-site experience."

In fact, the 16th HUFS GTEP team, launched last February, took part in 13 exhibitions and trade fairs held in the U.S., France, Spain, Monaco, Singapore, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, and other nations around the world, demonstrating their true passion undaunted by the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic.
