HUFS has been accredited by University Institutional Accreditation following the joint accreditation of its main and branch campuses in 2013.
The university has also been recognized for the excellence of its specialized, step-by-step education program aimed at fostering global specialists.
Introduced in 2011, the University Institutional Accreditation evaluates universities in six categories and 17 areas, based on 54 criteria, with the goal of enhancing their international acceptability, assuring a high-quality education for persons wishing to pursue a university education, and encouraging the universities to continually improve their educational quality.
The accreditation is meaningful in that HUFS received it as a result of the integrated accreditation of its main and branch campuses, ahead of the planned integration of its main and branch campuses in 2014.
The accreditation remains in effect for five years beginning September 1, 2013.
