Last Thursday, April 6 at 7 PM, two ID majors met the thesis committee via WebEx to present their thesis proposal.
Benjamin Devise presented his thesis proposal entitled "Namibia's Energy Transition and the Role of Foreign Investors:
An International Political Analysis of French and German Involvement" and Carmen Morant presented her thesis entitled
"Looking For Community Resilience: The Role of Indigenous Knowledge in Climate Change Adaptation in Quillagua, Chile"
to the panel composed of Department Chair for International Development Dr. Yunjeong Yang, and Assistant Professor for International Development Dr. Suweon Kim.
The friendly consultation was attended by other ID majors, who gave constructive feedback, in addition to the guidance given by the ID faculty.
