On August 16th, two students from ID major of GSIAS presented their thesis proposal to thesis committee via Webex.
Isabela Coelho presented her thesis proposal entitled "Seeds for Nature and Community Restoration: Empowerment and Local Participation in the Cerrado de Pé Association in the Chapada dos Veadeiros National Park, Brazil" and Carmen Morant presented her thesis proposal entitled "Decolonizing Climate Justice and Energy Transition: Analysis of the Spanish International Development Cooperation in Latin America and Its Impacts on the Indigenous Communities" to the thesis committee which consists of Yunjeong Yang, Deptartment Chair of International Development and Suweon Kim, Assistant Professor of International Development.
Constructive comments and consultation by two professors from the thesis committee followed after each student's presentation on their proposal, to further complement and encourage the students' thesis work.
