2024-1 오리엔테이션, 사생수칙 계도기간 안내 (Orientation, Guidance period)

1. 오리엔테이션 안내

2024-1학기 국제학사 오리엔테이션을 온라인이 아닌 현장에서 진행할 예정입니다.

  ○ 일자 : 2024년 3월 13일(수)

  ○ 시간 (1차/2차 중 택1, 교차참석 가능)

    - 1차) 18:00~19:00 내국인 대상, 한국어로 진행 예정

    - 2차) 19:00~20:00 외국인 대상, 영어로 진행

  ○ 장소 : 사이버관 대강당

  ○ 기타 : 사생수칙에 의거하여 기숙사 내의 공동행사 필참 (불참 시 벌점 5점 부과)

     ※ 세부사항은 붙임 안내문 참조

2. 사생수칙 준수 계도기간 안내

사생수칙을 아직 숙지하지 못한 신입 사생의 실수를 배려하고 지도하기 위해 계도 기간을 운영합니다.

  ○ 사생수칙 준수 계도기간 : 3/4(월) ~ 3/13(수)

  ○ 이 기간 동안, 생활수칙 위반사항에 대해 벌점 대신 주의 및 지도

    ※ 단, 공공 안전을 위협하거나 고의적/반복적인 경우 벌점 부과

  ○ 이 기간 동안에도 생활수칙(외박, 야간통행제한 등) 준수해야함

    ※ 계도기간 동안에 ‘외박일수’ 미차감.

※ 외박 신청요령

  ○ 경로 : 한국외대 홈페이지 - 종합정보시스템 - 로그인 - 국제학사 - 외박신청

    ※ 스마트폰(Android, iOS)으로 접속할 경우, 어플리케이션이 아닌 웹브라우저로 접속.

  ○ 시간 : 외박일 23:59 까지 신청 및 취소 가능.

※ 자주묻는 질문

  Q) 한국인 학생인데, 봉사활동을 마치고 기숙사에 오면 6시가 조금 넘을것 같습니다. 오리엔테이션 1부 대신 2부에 참석해도 되나요?

  A) 네, 2부에 참석해도 됩니다. 강당 수용 인원과 언어 접근성으로 인해, 두 번에 나눠 진행할 예정입니다. 사정이 있는 경우에는 다른 시간대에 참석해도 되고, 별도의 신청은 필요하지 않습니다.

  Q) 계도기간에도 외박 신청을 해야 하나요?

  A) 계도기간에도 외박신청을 해야 합니다. 다만, 계도기간에는 '외박일수'가 차감되지 않습니다.

  Q) 3월 21일(목)에 부모님 댁에 갔다가 3월 25일(월)에 기숙사로 복귀하려 합니다. 어느 날짜에 외박 신청해야 하나요?

  A) 이 경우, 3/21(목), 3/22(금), 3/23(토), 3/24(일)에 대해 외박신청 해야 합니다. 이 중 외박일수가 차감되는 것은 3/21(목)이고, 3/22(금), 3/23(토), 3/24(일)은 차감되지 않습니다.

1. Orientation

The orientation will be conducted in person, not online.

  ○ Date: Wednesday, March 13th, 2024

  ○ Time (Choose one of the two sessions, cross-attendance is allowed)

    - 1st session) 18:00~19:00 for domestic students, the Korean-speaking

    - 2nd session) 19:00~20:00 for international students, the English-speaking

  ○ Venue: Cyber Education Building Auditorium

  ○ Others: Attendance at dormitory events is mandatory according to dormitory rules (a penalty of 5 points will be imposed for absence).

    ※ For details, please refer to the attached guide.

2. Dormitory Rules Guidance Period

To consider and guide new residents who may not yet be familiar with dormitory rules, a guidance period will be in place.

  ○ Period: Monday, March 4th to Wednesday, March 13th, 2024

  ○ Violation of rules resulted in warning and guidance instead of penalty points.

    ※ If you threat to public safety or repeat deliberate act, penalty points will be imposed.

  ○ You have to observe dormitory rules(staying out, moving rules at night) to maintain order.

    ※ In this period, ‘the number of staying out days’ will not be reduced.

※ How to Apply Staying-out

  ○ System Path: HUFS Homepage - Integrated Information System(종합정보시스템) - Login - GlobeeDorm(국제학사) - Staying-out Application(외박신청)

      ※ When accessing via smartphone (Android, iOS), use a web browser instead of the application.

  ○ Time: Applications and cancellations are possible until 23:59 on the day of staying-out.

※ Frequently Asked Questions

  Q) I am a Korean student, and after finishing volunteer activities, I might be a little late for the orientation at 6 PM. Can I attend the 2nd session instead of the 1st session?

  A) Yes, you can attend the 2nd session. We will divide it into two sessions due to capacity and language accessibility. If you have circumstances, you can attend at a different time, and no application is required.

  Q) Do I need to apply for staying-out during the guidance period?

  A) Yes, you still need to apply for staying-out during the guidance period. (The number of staying-out date is not reduced.)

  Q) I plan to visit my parents on March 21st (Thursday) and return to the dormitory on March 25th (Monday). On which dates should I apply for staying-out?

  A) In this case, you should apply for staying-out for March 21st (Thursday), March 22nd (Friday), March 23rd (Saturday), and March 24th (Sunday). The count will be taken only for March 21st (Thursday), while March 22nd (Friday), March 23rd (Saturday), and March 24th (Sunday) will not count.
