The 1st KWPF-KGGTF Joint Webinar will share the evolution of the Disruptive Agricultural Technologies (DAT) program and the range of innovations that the two forefront Korean Trust Funds, KWPF and KGGTF have spawned and supported. The DAT team will discuss Bank’s engagement in building the DAT ecosystem in Uganda and Kenya and lessons derived on scaling this approach in Africa. The webinar will showcase the experience and impacts of a local startup supported by the TFs as well as the role the Korean development partner played in sharing relevant knowledge and expertise. The Webinar will also discuss implications on future knowledge sharing and partnership opportunities in this area. Presentations will be followed by a discussion and Q/A session.

About KWPF & KGGTF Joint Webinar Series 

Korea has made one of the most dramatic economic transformations over the past 76 years. Today, at the forefront of Korea's contribution to the world, the two trust funds, Korea-World Bank Partnership Facility (KWPF) and Korea Green Growth Trust Fund (KGGTF), have been supporting the World Bank’s efforts to finance development projects and share development experience, innovation and knowledge. Since their establishment in 2013, the two TFs have supported 269 grants across various development sectors with a total financing of more than 188 million US dollars. KWPF and KGGTF joint webinar series will share findings on the TFs’ development impact and discuss innovation, challenges and the way forward with various stakeholders including WB staffs, clients, the donor and development partners. For more info about TFs, click here for KWPF and KGGTF.
