     * 학교는 KFL학부 지원자를 위해 전공수업 수강신청 과목을 국제입학관리팀에서 대신하고 있음

     * 첫 학기 최대 이수 가능 학점은 20학점임

4. 비자 신청

   가. 비자신청 안내 사항

       1) 합격한 여러분들 중 현재 외국에 있는 학생의 경우 D2(유학생)비자를 신청해야하고 한국에 오면 90일 이내 외국인 등록증을 신청해야 합니다.

       2) 현재 한국에 있고 D4 또는 다른 비자가 있는 경우 학기가 시작하기 전(8월 31일)에 D2(유학생)비자로 변경(변경접수 신청)을 해야 합니다.

          ※ 비자 변경은 반드시 8월 31일 이전에 본인이 직접 또는 학교 행정사를 활용하여 출입국 사무소에 신청하시기 바랍니다.

       3) 외국인 등록증 신청 및 비자 변경과 관련된 자세한 안내 사항은 뒤 별첨 자료를 확인해 주시기 바랍니다.

5. 기숙사 안내

   가. 서울캠퍼스 글로비돔(GlobeeDorm) 신청자 총 53명

       1) 입사일: 8월 26일 수요일부터,입사장소: 국제학사 1층 기숙사운영팀

   나. 글로벌캠퍼스 훕스돔(HUFS Dorm)기숙사 신청자 총 9명

       1) 입사일: 8월 26일 수요일부터,입사장소: 글로벌캠퍼스 기숙사 B동 1층

   다. 기숙사 신청자 중 해외 입국자 기숙사 입사 안내

       1) 위에 기숙사 신청자 중에서 해외 입국자는 14일간 자가격리 시설에서 14일 거주 후 원래 신청한 기숙사로 입실 가능

   라. 기숙사 취소 신청은 2020. 08, 26(수)일까지 이메일로 송부(internationalhufs@hufs.ac.kr)

   마. 기숙사에 입사하는 모든 학생은 결핵검사 확인서를 기숙사 입실 전 반드시 기숙사 운영팀에 제출하시기 바랍니다. 국내 보건소 또는 해외 보건소에서 받은 결핵검사확인서를 제출할 수 있습니다.

   바. 해외에서 입국한 학생의 경우에는 14일 자가격리 이후 공항에서 발급한 ‘검역 확인증’을 지참하여 국제입학관리팀에 와서 확인을 받으셔야 기숙사 입실이 가능합니다.

6. 입국확인서명서

  가. 모든 신·편입생은 반드시 입국확인서명서를 작성하여야 합니다.

      *해외에서 입국한 학생뿐만 아니라 한국에 있었던 학생 모두 입국확인서를 작성해주시기 바랍니다.(8월 18일부터~)

  나. 국제입학관리팀(서울 캠퍼스:역사관 102호, 글로벌 캠퍼스: 백년관 204호)에 비치하고 있으니 사무실에 와서 작성 후 제출하여 주시기 바랍니다.

7. 유학생 보험가입료 환불 안내

  가. 개인 보험가입증명서 제출

       1) 등록금을 납부한 모든 학생은 학교에서 제공하는 유학생 보험에 가입이 됩니다.

     * 보장기간 : 2020.09~2021.02

  나. 개인 보험 가입자 제출서류: 보험증서 복사본

       1) 보험 증서 조건:

     * 국민건강보험 가입 시:“건강보험 자격득실확인서”만 인정 (건강보험증, 건강보험확인서 불인정)
국민건강보험 외 다른 보험 가입 시, 아래 2가지 조건을 충족해야 함
1.한국에서 발생한 상해,질병 사고가 보상되는 보험이어야 함
2.보장기간: 2020.09~2021.02

     * 개인 보험 가입증명서를 제출한 학생은 60.000원 환불 받을 수 있습니다. (2021년 10월 이후 환불 예정)

8. 미비서류 제출

   가. 최종학력증명서(고등학교 졸업장), 최종학력 성적표(고등학교 성적표) 영사확인 등을 제출하지 않은 학생은 8월 26일까지 국제입학관리팀에 제출하시기 바랍니다.

9. 입학포기자 안내

   가. 본 대학 입학을 포기하고 납부한 등록금 환불을 희망할 경우 아래의 서류를 구비하여 스캔본을 이메일로 송부하거나, 우리 대학 국제입학관리팀에 방문하여 제출하여야 합니다.

   나. 제출서류

       1) 입학포기원서(소정양식) 1부 (국제입학관리팀 문의)

       2) 본인 신분증 사본 및 통장 사본 각 1부

   다. 등록 포기는 입학일 전(2020. 08. 28)까지 가능하며, 그 이후에는 등록금 전액 환불이 불가할 수 있습니다.

   라.2020학년도 2학기 신편입학 모집에 중복 합격한 학생들은 반드시 하나의 대학교에만 등록 하여야 하며, 이중 등록 시에는 등록한 모든 대학교의 합격이 취소됩니다.

10. 학생증 및 재학증명서 발급

   가. 학생증: 도서관 이용 등에 필요

   나. 재학증명서: 각 캠퍼스 원스톰 서비스 센터 증명서 발급기 이용

       1) 외국인 등록증 발급 및 체류기간 연장에 필요

          ※ 추후에 자세한 안내 예정

11. 수업 방식 안내

   가. 2020학년도 2학기 학부 수업방식은 교무위원회(2020.8.3.) 심의를 거쳐 대면, 비대면 수업을 병행하여 운행할 예정입니다

12. 첫 학기 휴학 신청

   가. 입학 후 첫 학기에는 우리대학교 학칙에 의거하여 휴학할 수 없으나, 코로나-19로 인하여 2020학년도 2학기 신/편입생은 모두 휴학 신청이 가능합니다. (휴학신청서 첨부파일 참고)

   나. 휴학 신청을 원하는 학생들은 휴학신청서를 작성하여 8월 16일까지 보내주시기 바랍니다. (보낼 때 이메일 제목은 “휴학신청”으로, 내용에는 학생의 성명과 수험번호 기재요망)

   다. 휴학 신청후 2021학년도 1학기 또는 2021학년도 2학기에 복학신청 후 복학 가능합니다.

13. 자가격리 관련 안내

   가. D-2 비자 소지자의 경우 정부에서 안내하는 격리시설을 사용할 수 없습니다.

   나. 한국에 거주살 곳이 없는 경우, 한국 도착하기 전에 Airbnb 또는 호텔을 예약해야합니다. 공항에서 예약한 숙소 주소를 인천공항 질병관리 본부에 알려줘야 합니다.

   다. 기숙사(서울캠퍼스, 글로벌캠퍼스)를 신청한 학생의 경우 반드시 입국 후 자가격리 14일 후 체크인이 가능합니다.

   라. 기숙사에 들어가기전에 반드시 국제입학관리팀에 방문하여 인천공항에서 받은 검역확인증을 제출해주시기 바랍니다.

14. 오리엔테이션 안내

   가. 8월 26일에 예정되었던 오프라인 오리엔테이션은 취소합니다.

15. <중요> 설문조사 안내

   가. 설문 조사 내용

       1) 이름/수험번호/여권번호/외국인등록번호(소지자에 한하여 작성)

       2) 이메일/연락처/비상연락처/거주 주소

       3) 현재 거주 위치(한국이면 주소를 적어주세요, 해외에 있으면 국가명을 적어주세요)

       4) 한국 입국 예정 여부, 입국할 계획이면 입국 예정일

       5) 한국 입국 예정자의 경우 자가격리 장소

   나. 반드시 모든 학생이 설문조사를 진행해 주시고, 만약 업데이트되는 내용이 있으면 설문조사를 다시해주시기 바랍니다.

Hello newly admitted students,

Congratulations on being admitted to our school and becoming a member of HUFS.

Below are some important announcements you need to know before the semester begins.

     * The school will manually register for major course for all students majoring in KFL.

     * The maximum number of credits students are allowed to take is 20.

4. Visa application

   A. Remember

       1) Students who are currently overseas must apply for D-2 visa now and apply for ARC within 90 days of their entrance to Korea.

       2) Students who are currently in Korea and holding D-4 or other visa must apply for the change of visa to D-2 before August 31st,the first day of classes.

          ※ Please go directly to the Immigration Office to apply for the visa before the 31th  of August.

       3) Please refer to the document attached below for more detailed information about visa and Alien Registration Card application.

5.Dormitory

   A. Total of 53 students applied for Seoul Campus GlobeeDorm

       1) Check-in: starting from Wednesday, August 26th, at Dormitory Management Office on the first floor of GlobeeDorm

   B. Total of 9 students applied for Globa Campus HUFS Dorm

       1) Check-in: starting from Wednesday, August 26th, on the first floor of Dormitory Building B on Global Campus

   C. Dormitory applicants who entered Korea from abroad

       1) All dormitory applicants who entered Korea from abroad are able to check in after 14-day quarantine.

   D. If you decide not to live in the dormitory, please let us know before 2020. 08. 26(Wed) via e-mail. (internationalhufs@hufs.ac.kr)

   E. All successful dorm applicants are required to submit proof of an authorized TB test result to the dormitory office before checking in. You can submit examination results taken from any public health center in Korea or from your home country.

   F. All dormitory applicants who are to check in after 14-day quarantine should bring their ‘Health Screening Certificate’ issued by Incheon airport to the Office of International Admissions and Management(OIAM).

6. Signing the Entry Confirmation form

  A. All new and transfer students who have registered to school must sign the Entry Confirmation form regardless of their entry record. This includes those who have been staying in Korea.

*Signing available from August 18th.

  B. Please visit the Office of International Admissions & Management (Seoul Campus: Historical Archives Building(역사관) Rm 102, Global Campus: Centennial Complex(백년관) Rm 204) and fill out the form.

7. Insurance for International Students

   A. Health Insurance Certificate

       1) All international students who have paid the tuition fee will be automatically registered in an insurance provided by HUFS.

     * Coverage period: 2020.09 - 2021.02

  B. Students with personal insurance: Please submit a copy of the insurance certificate.

       1) Your insurance certificate must:

     * National Health Insurance Services: Only “건강보험 자격득실확인서” is acceptable (건강보험증, 건강보험확인서 are not acceptable)
Other insurance services:
1. Must cover all illnesses and accidents happened in Korea
2. Coverage period: 2020.09 - 2021.02

     * Those who already paid the insurance fee of 60,000 KRW through school but have personal insurance are able to get a refund.

(The refund will be processed after October, 2021.)

8. Submission of missing documents

   A. If you have not submitted your Graduation Certificate and high school transcript (both Apostilled), please turn them in to OIAM before August 26th.

9. Admissions renunciation (giving up admission)

   A. If you have registered for the school but have to renunciate your admission due to visa denial or personal reasons, please complete a form for giving up admission and submit a scanned copy via e-mail or visit the office and submit it in person.

   B. Necessary documents

       1) Giving up admission form

       2) A copy of one’s ID and bankbook

   C. Please submit the form before August 28th, 2020; a full refund of tuition may not be possible after then.

   D.All students who have been admitted to more than one universities for the 2020 Fall semester must only be registered to one school. If not, registration for all schools will automatically be cancelled.

10. Issuance of Student ID card and the Certificate of Enrollment

   A. Student ID card: needed to enter some buildings, including the library

   B. Certiciate of Enrollment: Please use the One Stop Service Center

       1) needed for application for ARC or extension of stay in Korea

          ※ More detailed information will be given out in the future

11. 2020 Class Plan

   A. Fall 2020 undergraduate classes will be both online and in-person. This was decided by the Comittee of Academic Affairs on August 3, 2020.

12. Leave of Absence on First Semester

   A. According to HUFS academic policy, newly enrolling students who are starting their first semester are not allowed to take a leave of absence. However, due to COVID-19 outbreak, both freshmen and transfer students who are starting their first semester at HUFS this year are able to apply for a leave of absence. (Application file is attached.)

   B. Application for Leave of Absence should be submitted by August 16thvia e-mail.

1) E-mail title: ‘휴학신청(Application for Leave of Absence)’

2) Include your name and application numberin the e-mail.

13. Quarantine Information

   A. D-2 visa holders cannot use quarantine facilities offered by the Korean government.

   B.If you do not have a place to live in Korea. You should reserve Airbnb or a hotel on their own before arrival. Make sure to inform the address of your hotel to KCDC(Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) at Incheon international airport.

   C. Dormitory applicants for both Seoul and Global campus are able to check in after 14-day quarantine.

   D. All dormitory applicants who are to check in after 14-day quarantine should bring their ‘Health Screening Certificate’ issued by Incheon airport to the Office of International Admissions and Management(OIAM).

14. New International Student Orientation

   A. In-person orientation, which was scheduled to be on August 26th, is cancelled.

   B. Important information will be uploaded on OIAM website.
