On November 8, HUFS JMC held the third EU Certificate Course in the room 118 at the Main Building. 63 students from nine universities in Seoul participated in the EU Certificate Course, which runs on July 8 and 15.

The first day's lecture consisted of three rounds and first, Jean Monnet Chair Professor Sihong Kim gave a lecture on the history, economic, and political implications of Korea-EU relations, under the theme of "Korea-EU relationship 55 years." In the second lecture, Dr. Sungeun Shim talked about the status and prospects of rising populist parties in Europe under the theme of “Populism and drift of European politics”. Finally, Professor Kang Yoo-duk gave a lecture on the Korea-EU FTA, "Seven Years of the Korea-EU FTA: Performance and Outlook," and on the trade results and problems and ways to improve it. Through questions and answers made in each lecture, the students were able to solve their questions regarding Korea-EU relations and the political and economic status between their relations.
