On Nov. 27 (Wed), HUFS JMCE co-hosted a special lecture with the Italian Department by inviting Francesco Sordini, Consul of the Italian Embassy to Korea. It was held under the theme of "Italy, European Union and Korea." and looked back from the establishment of the EU to the present on the role and status of Italy within the EU. Regarding the Korea-EU FTA, which will mark its 10th anniversary in 2020, he stressed that continued economic cooperation will be achieved under the spirit of free trade. About 50 students and faculty members attended the event, and after the lecture, the faculty held a talk with Mr. Francesco Sordini about continuing mutual cooperation between HUFS and the Italian Embassy to Korea.
