HUFS JMCE, Industry-Academic Cooperation Foundation of Keimyung University, and Europe Division of Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy have co-hosted a seminar at Korea Press Center on November 13. The seminar was held under the theme "EU-East Asia Trade issues and Korea's response".

With Professor Lee Jong-won (University of Suwon)'s moderation, KIEP Associate Research Fellow Lee Cheon-kee(Labor and Environmental issued under EU's Trade Policy), KIEP Senior Researcher Oh Taehyun(Sino-EU Bilateral Trade Agreement: Key points and future outlook), HUFS Professor Kang Yoo-duk(Comparative Analysis on ROK-EU and Japan-EU FTA) attended as the presenters with respective topics. HUFS Professor Kim Bong-chul, KIET Associate Research Fellow Cho Eunkyo, HUFS Professor Lee Chang-min participated as the discussion panels.

An intense discussion regarding how Japan-EU FTA, Vietnam-EU FTA, Sino-EU CAI(Comprehensive Agreement on Investment) would have an influence on Korean economy was covered during the seminar, as well as the further outlooks of trade policy in Biden's administration and the following counter policies.
