On January 27, HUFS JMCE director Si-hong Kim has attended Human Security and Development Forum hosted by Free University of Berlin Korea-Europe Center. The forum was held under the theme of "The Future of Transatlantic Relations and the EU's Role in Asia under the Biden Presidency". During the Keynote speech Federica Mogherini, the rector of the College of Europe, gave remarks regarding the expectations on multilateralism and favorable circumstances for Europe under Biden's administration. However, she also mentioned that Europe might confront the challenges as long as the US and China continue on competition. Dr. Tereza Novota, HUFS JMCE coordinator, has moderated the forum on meaningful discussion regarding Europe-Asian relations.
