HUFS JMCE director Si-hong Kim participated as a roundtable presenter at The Korean Society of Contemporary European Studies-Hanyang Univ Peace Institute conference. The theme of the conference was US-China competition and ROK-EU Relations. The presenters each shared their own perspectives, mostly agreeing on the continued difficulty that the transatlantic US-Europe relationship will face even under the Biden Administration. In addition, the conference came to the consensus that through the resurgence of multilaterism regarding the Korean Peninsula, it is necessary for academics to seek solutions in which Europe can also contribute to this issue.
