The annual academic conference was held successfully at Korea University's International Hall on Friday afternoon, December 22nd, co-organized by HUFS Jean Monnet EU Centre and the KSCES. Presentations and discussions were held by various panels at the event, which was held under the theme of the Outlook for the European Political Situation and the Tasks of European Research. Meanwhile, at the general meeting on this day, Professor Sungwon Yoon of the University of Suwon was inaugurated as the 2024 president. In addition, Professor Bongchul Kim, director of the EU Research Institute at the Hankuk University of Foreign Studies and co-director of the HUFS Jean Monnet Centre, was elected as the next president in 2025.
