On friday, January 19th, the EU Centre and the Institue of EU studies held the 5th Youth 

Forum at Sangyeonjae City Hall station (Junggu, Seoul). Sponsored by the NRF, 

the event was cohosted by the EU Centre and the Institue of EU studies, HSSI, KSCES, 

and the EURAXESS KOREA. 

 The EU Youth Forum, which consists of university (graduate) students interested in Europe and has been held for the purpose of discovering future generations of academics, 

has become a meaningful place, especially in the case of this 5th forum due to the active

participation of students from both campuses of our universities.
 The panel of the first part of the forum was the Humanities and Social Research Project 

Group. While the panel for the second part of the forum were undergraduates.The first session was conducted with various and extensive studies to explore implications

and measures for European countries' politics, economy, society, environment, and institutions. Followed by the second session which is consisted by three different themes. 

Students presented the trends of the EU and the international community, including "European Diversity and Integrity," "EU's Immigration and Refugee Policy," and 

"EU & ESG".

 After the presentation, discussions were conducted accordingly which led to a conclusion

that through this forum, new perspectives and attempts of the subsequent generation of 

academics stood out.
