The Jean Monnet EU Centre of Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (Director Kim Si-hong) invited Professor Kang Yoo-duk (HUFS LT Division) to hold a seminar at 1 p.m. on Tuesday April 16 in the lecture hall of the Faculty Office Building on campus. The theme of the day was Korea-EU trade relations from the perspective of global supply chains, and it was emphasized that the existing trade statistics between countries do not reflect the changing reality, so a multi-layered analysis based on data from global value chains is necessary.

The event was attended by undergraduate EU Major students and master＇s and doctoral students of the Department of EU Studies at the Graduate School of International and Area Studies, and Christophe Bneau, Economic Counselor of the French Embassy in Seoul, provided a European perspective.
