In June 2016, Professor KIM Chul-Min's "The Viewpoint and Strategy of Central and Eastern Europe on the EU's Refugee Crisis" was published on the Journal of European Studies, vol. 43. The paper discusses the EU's refugee crisis, with a special focus on Central and Eastern Europe. More specifically, the paper examines the contents and perspectives of Central and Eastern Europe's oppositions for EU's collective refugee policy, as well as the reasons these countries's decision. In the process, Professor KIM uses international laws supporting the UNHCR's refugee crisis management as well as the refugee crises that arose in Europe during the 20th century as reference. Moreover, the paper introduces a new action plan for resolving the refugee crisis proposed by the Central and Eastern European countries, along with the prospects of the EU-Turkey agreement on refugee crisis.
