During the 25th edition of Meet the EU Luis Simon, a researcher from Institute for European Studies in Brussels gave a lecture entitled 'America's Evolving Geostrategy and European Security in a Global Context'. He discussed American strategy in an international context and its implications for European security. He also mentioned security threats in Northeast Asia and presented different interests from American as well as European point of view. North Korean nuclear issue was also briefly discoursed.
