성평등센터에서는 양성평등기본법 등 관련 법령에 의거, 매년 학내 구성원을 대상으로 ‘폭력예방교육’을 시행하고 있습니다. 2020학년도부터는 폭력예방교육을 이수하지 않을 경우 대학이 제공하는 서비스를 제한할 예정입니다.

1. 교육대상 : 대학 내 모든 구성원

가. 학부 및 대학원생 : 성폭력, 가정폭력 예방교육 매년 연간 총 2시간 이수

나. 교원·직원 : 성희롱, 성매매, 성폭력, 가정폭력 예방교육 매년 연간 총 4시간 이수

2. 방법 : 폭력예방교육은 온라인 교육(대학 홈페이지 로그인 / 마이페이지 / 폭력예방교육 수강하기)과 오프라인 교육 중 선택하여 이수

3. 오프라인교육 신청 : 원활한 교육 진행을 위해 오프라인 강좌는 필히 사전 신청을 해야 하며, 30인 이상 단체만 신청 가능함

● 폭력예방교육은 필수로 이수해야 하나요?

☞ 네, 그렇습니다. 본 교육은 양성평등기본법 등 관련 법령에 의거하여 진행되는 법정 의무교육으로, 대학에 재직 중인 모든 교원 및 직원은 매년 성희롱/성매매/성폭력/가정폭력 예방교육을 각 1시간 이상씩 총 4시간을, 대학에 재학 중인 모든 학부생 및 대학원생은 성폭력/가정폭력 예방교육을 각 1시간 이상씩 총 2시간을 의무로 이수해야 합니다.

 2019학년도에는 본교 모든 구성원을 대상으로 폭력예방교육 미이수 시 서비스 제한 제도를 도입, 시범 운영기간을 거쳐 2020학년도부터 본격 시행할 예정입니다. 이에 따라 학생이 폭력예방교육을 미이수할 경우 성적조회가 제한되며, 교원이 폭력예방교육을 미이수한 경우 종합정보시스템의 일부 기능 사용 권한이 제한되오니 사전에 미리 교육을 이수하실 것을 권고합니다. (온라인 교육 수강 시 이수 내역이 즉시 반영되며, 오프라인 교육 수강 시 이수 결과를 반영되는 데에 3∼4일 소요됨을 참고하시기 바랍니다.)

● 올해 다른 대학/ 기관에서 폭력예방교육을 이수하였습니다. 한국외국어대학교에서 다시 교육을 이수해야 하나요?

☞ 아닙니다. 만약 다른 대학/ 기관에서 폭력예방교육을 이수하였다면, 이수증명서를 성평등센터로 제출하여 교육 이수로 인정받을 경우 다시 수강하지 않아도 됩니다.

● 온라인을 통해서 교육을 이수할 수 있나요?

☞ 네, 할 수 있습니다. 온라인 폭력예방교육 시스템을 통해 언제든 교육을 이수할 수 있습니다.

    한국외국어대학교 홈페이지 로그인 후 마이페이지 ‘폭력예방교육 수강하기’ 클릭하여 온라인 폭력예방교육을 이수할 수 있습니다.

● 온라인 교육과 오프라인 교육 두 가지를 모두 이수해야 하나요?

☞ 구성원 별로 다릅니다.

- 학부생, 대학원생 모두 온라인 교육을 이수해야 합니다. 단, 학부 신입생세미나 시간 폭력예방교육을 이수한 신입생과, 총학생회 임원, 동아리연합회 임원 등 별도의 오프라인 교육을 이수한 재학생은 교육이 완료됩니다.

- 외국인교원과 비전임교원, 강사, 연구원은 모두 온라인 교육을 이수하여야 합니다.

- 내국인전임교원은 2월과 8월 교수회의 시 폭력예방교육에 2회 모두 참석하여 출석부에 서명한 경우 교육 이수 완료되며, 교육에 1회 또는 2회 모두 불참한 경우 온라인 교육을 이수하여야 합니다.

- 직원은 방학 중 실시하는 오프라인 교육 1회와 온라인 교육을 둘 다 이수하여야 합니다.

● 폭력예방교육 작년에 했는데 금년에 또 해야 하나요?

☞ 네, 폭력예방교육은 양성평등기본법 등 관련 법률과 학내 성희롱 등 예방 및 처리에 관한 규정에 의거한 의무교육으로 매년 1회 이상, 학생은 2시간, 교원·직원은 4시간 이상 반드시 이수해야 합니다.

Hello! This is HUFS Gender Equality Center. We aim to promote a respectful university community where everyone experiences equal opportunity and tolerance.

Thank you for your continued participation and support in realizing the need for a gender equal university community.

The Gender Equality Center conducts “Violence Prevention Education” every year in accordance with relevant laws such as the Basic Gender Equality Act. Starting in 2020, we limit some services provided by the university when you don’t complete the violence prevention education on time.

1. Participants : All members of the university

a. Undergraduate and graduate students: Sexual and Domestic Violence Prevention Education(total 2hrs per year)

b. Faculty and staff: 1)Sexual and Domestic Violence Prevention Education 2)Sexual harassment and prostitution prevention education (total 4hrs per year)

2. Violence Prevention Education can be completed either through an online course.(‘폭력예방교육 수강하기-taking violence prevention education’ on mypage of HUFS main website) or off-line course.

3. Application for off-line education: In order to proceed smoothly, offline courses must be applied in advance and only for groups of 30 or more.

5. Frequently Asked Questions

● Do I have to complete the violence prevention education?

☞ Yes, you do. This training is a statutory compulsory education conducted in accordance with relevant laws such as the Basic Gender Equality Act. Undergraduate and graduate students are required to complete a total of two hours of sexual violence / domestic violence prevention education, one hour or longer. Starting in 2019, we introduce a service restriction system for all members of our school who have not completed the violence prevention education.

Accordingly, if a student does not complete the violence prevention education, he/she cannot check one’s grade on the HUFS web information system. If a professor does not complete the violence prevention education, the use of some functions of the HUFS web information system will be restricted. (Please note that the course result will be revealed immediately when you take the online training, and it will take 3~4 days to reveal the results when you take the offline training.)

● I have completed the violence prevention education at another university this year. Do I have to take the training again at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies?

☞ No. If you have completed the Violence Prevention Education at another university, you just need to submit and be confirmed the certificate of completion to the Gender Equality Center.

● Can I complete the training online?

☞ Yes, you can. You can complete your training at any time through our online violence prevention education system.

(You can complete the online violence prevention education by clicking '폭력예방교육 수강하기(Taking Violence Prevention Education)' button on ‘mypage’ after logging in HUFS main website.)

● Do I have to complete both online and offline training?

☞ Different for each member.

-Both undergraduate and graduate students must complete the online course. However, new undergrad students who have completed the violence prevention education through undergraduate freshmen seminar, and students who have completed off-line education such as a course for Executives for the Student Council and etc, are recognized that they have completed the education and do not need to retake the violence prevention course.

-Both foreign and non-full-time faculty members must complete the online education.

-Korean full-time faculty members should attend the violence prevention education which is conducted at the faculty meeting in both February and August, and sign the attendance department both times. When you miss one or both programs, you must complete the online training.

-University Staff must complete both offline and online training.

● I did the Violence Prevention Education last year. Then should I take it this year again?

☞ Yes, the violence prevention education has to be done annually, as it is a statutory compulsory education in accordance with relevant laws such as the Basic Gender Equality Act.
