2. 세부내용

 1) 지원대상: 외국인 유학생 중 2018년 1학기에 학부 4학년으로 진급예정인 학생

 2) 지원인원: 20명

 3) 지원내용: 1년간 매 달 20만원씩 한국문화체험을 위한 학업보조장학금 지급 (240만원/인)

 4) 지원시기: 2018년 3월~2019년 2월

 5) 지원시기: 2018년 2월 19일(월)~3월 14일(수) 서울캠퍼스 국제학생지원팀 이혜영 대리 앞으로 제출

   ※ 발표: 2018년 3월 23일(금)

 6) 장학생 발대식: 2018년 3월 30일(금) 오후 4시, 메디힐빌딩(서울시 강서구)

 

3. 선발기준 및 조건

 1) 4학년 1학기 등록을 완료한 외국인 유학생(휴학생, 교환학생 제외)

 2) 평점 평균 2.8 이상/4.5

 3) 한국어능력(TOPIK) 우수자 및 교수추천서 제출 시 가산점 부여

   - TOPIK: 등급별 차등 점수 적용하며 유효기간 4년 이내까지 허용

   - 교수추천서: 학과장 및 지도교수 추천서

 4) 자기소개서: 한국에 대한 애정과 관심, 본 장학금을 통해 경험해보고 싶은것,

                       고국에서 글로벌 앰배서더로서의 활동 계획등에 대해 기술

 5) 타 장학금 수혜(등록금 전액 포함)자도 지원 가능

  

4. 제출서류

 1) 장학금 지원 신청서 (첨부파일)

 2) 자기소개서(첨부파일)

 3) 성적증명서(1~3학년)

 4) 2018년 1학기 등록금 납입명세서

 5) 외국인등록증 사본

 6) 기타 선발에 유리하다고 여기는 서류 (TOPIK성적표, 지도교수 추천서, 과외 활동 내역표 등)

 

5. 장학생 혜택 및 의무사항

 1) 장학증서 발급

 2) 재단에서 주최하는 행사 참석 (기념품 증정)

  - 발대식: 2018년 3월 30일(금) 16시

  - 롯데면세점-메디힐 글로벌 앰배서더 장학생 후원의 밤: 2018년 12월 21일(금) 예정

 3) 문화체험활동보고서 제출: 장학생들은 연 1회 문화체험 활동보고서를 반드시 제출해야하며 우수 후기를 선정하여 다음과 같이 시상함

  - 제출기한: 2018년 11월 5일(월)

  - 제출처: 추후 공지

  - 주제

     ① 체험한 관광시설의 낙후된 점 및 개선점 제안

     ② 나만의 한국체험코스 만들기

     ③ 문화체험 현장에서의 뜻깊었던 일

  - 시상내역 (총 1천만원 상당/후원의 밤에서 시상) : 100만원/70만원/50만원/20만원 

     (자세한 내용 추후 공지)

 4) 후기 및 제출 자료는 추후 재단홈페이지나 간행물에 기재될 수 있으며 실제 적용할 만한 아이디어가 있을 경우 활용할 수 있음.

 5) 2학기 개강 후 2학기 등록금 납입 명세서를 재제출한 자에 한해 잔여 장학금 제공

 

6. 장학금 반납 및 지급중단 사유

 1) 휴학, 제적, 자퇴 등의 사유로 학업을 수행하지 않은 학생

 2) 학사징계자 혹은 학사 경고자(평점평균 1.75미만)

 3) 허위 사실, 부정한 방법으로 장학생으로 선정되거나 장학금을 수령한 경우

 4) 활동후기를 일정 기간 내 제출하지 않은 경우

1. Name of Scholarship: LOTTE DUTY FREE - MEDIHEAL Global Ambassador

 

2. Details

 1) Applicants: International students about to start their first semester as a senior in Spring of 2018.

 2) Number of grantees: 20 students

 3) Amount of scholarship: 200,000 KRW of academic support per month for one year for Korean culture experiencing purposes (2.400,000 KRW/per person)

 4) Duration: Mar 2018~Feb 2019

 5) Application Date: 19^th Feb 2018 (Mon)~ 14^th Mar 2018 (Wed) Seoul Campus OISS to Ms. Hye Young Lee

   ※ Grantees announced on: 23^rd Mar 2018 (Fri)

 6) Grantee ceremony: 30^th Mar 2018 (Fri) 16:00, MEDIHEAL Building (Seoul Kangseo-gu)

 

3. Criteria

 1) International students who have completed registering their first semester of senior year (Students on leave of absence or exchange students excluded)

 2) Average GPA over 2.8 out of 4.5

 3) Extra points for students with high TOPIK level or submitting recommendation letters

   - TOPIK: Differentially graded according to the level and should be valid within 4 years

   - Recommendation Letter: Dean and/or Advisor’s Recommendation Letter

 4) Self-Introduction Document: Including your passion and interest for Korea, what you would like to do with the scholarship and plans to work as a global ambassador in your home country etc.

 5) Students who have already received other scholarships (including full-tuition scholarships) can also apply.

5. Grantee Benefits and Obligations

 1) Certificate of Scholarship issued.

 2) Attend the ceremony organized by the Foundation (souvenir offered)

  - LOTTE DUTY FREE-Night of MEDIHEAL Global Ambassador Sponsorship: planned on 21^st Dec 2018 (Fri)

 3) Korean Culture Experience Report: Grantees must submit a Culture Experience Report once a year and outstanding reports will be selected and awarded as below.

  - Closing Date: 5^th November 2018 (Mon)

  - Where to submit: To be announced

  - Theme:

①    Sightseeing facilities students have experienced that are outdated and/or improvements to suggest

②     Making my own Korea Traveling course

③     Meaningful episodes during culture experiencing

  - Amount of Award (Total of 10,000,000 KRW/Awarded at the Night of Sponsorship): 1,000,000/700,000/500,000/200,000 KRW

 4) The Culture Experience Report or submitted documents may be shown on the Foundation homepage or printed on the periodical and real-life applicable ideas may be used.

 5) Students who have resubmitted the Fall semester tuition receipt when the new semester starts, will be offered the remaining scholarship funds from discontinued grantees.

 

6. Scholarship Refund/Discontinuation

 1) Students who have discontinued school through leave of absence, expulsion, withdrawal

 2) Academic Penalty or Academic Probation (Average GPA below 1.75)

 3) Students selected as grantee or awarded with false facts or fraudulent acts.

 4) Students who have not submitted their Experience report within a certain period
