The discussion will focus on why and how to make systematic changes to reduce gender gaps in key industries with low representation of women.

UN Women＇s inaugural Seoul Gender Equality Dialogue will feature prominent speakers, both Korean and international, who will present compelling stories of overcoming gender barriers and breaking the glass ceiling in their fields. They will explain why we need to ＇fix＇ the system, not the women, and discuss concrete strategies to create an enabling environment for more women to join, thrive and stay on in key industries.

We would like to invite private sector managers at all levels, including in the human resource (HR) and diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) teams, as well as diplomats, policymakers, researchers and university/graduate students who are interested in increasing women＇s representation and contribution in key industries including, but not limited to, infrastructure, technology, manufacturing and finance. This event will provide you with the opportunity to share your challenges and network with others who are like-minded!
