On August 23rd, the HUFS Jean Monnet EU Centre co-hosted a conference on “Cooperation between EU and South Korea: Challenges and Assignments” with the HUFS Institute for EU Studies, Jeju Peace Institute, and the Korean Society of Contemporary European Studies. JMCE Director Kim Si-hong particiated as moderator, and presentations were delivered by Professor Kim Bong-chul (HUFS Division of International Studies) on “Domestic/International Law for New Cooperation between South Korea and EU” and by Professor Kang Yoo-duk (HUFS Department of Language&Trade) on “Corporate Social Responsibility Clause in Free-Trade Agreements: the Case of the European Union.”
