On 10^th of December, the Jean Monnet Centre celebrated the 10^th Anniversary of the EU Centre at HUFS in the Belle Vue Suite at Lotte Hotel, Seoul.

The international conference held on the same day was themed “Connecting Europe and Asia: Security, Trade and mobility,” and brought together both Korean and foreign academics to debate on the subject.

During the celebrations that followed, the EU Ambassador to Korea was joined by former Korea Ambassadors to the EU, Directors of the EU Centres at Korea University, Seoul National University, and Yonsei University to congratulate the 10^th Anniversary of the EU Centre. In addition, professors, researchers, and Masters and PhD research assistants that have been an integral part of the EU Centre for the past ten years attended the event, making the day’s celebrations all the more special. The EU Centre’s 10^th Anniversary book publication was also unveiled, marking a meaningful day in the Centre’s history.
