I-CEE Center of International Business School (IBS) of Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU), is developing a series of cooperative courses about international business, which will be published on MOOCs websites. The first topic is ‘International Taxation’. The objective of this course is to help foreign investors understand tax issues and risks around the world.

 

On behalf of I-CEE Center, I am very pleased to have the honor of inviting you to join this project. If you have a good understanding of the tax system in Korea, we would at your convenience like to conduct an interview with you focusing on the following topics:

 

1.      A brief introduction of the country and its tax environment;

2.      Major taxes in the country, especially those related to foreign investors;

3.      Tax collection and administration system;

4.      Major bilateral tax agreements between the country and China;

5.      Major tax and non-tax risks.

 

Duration of the interview on each topic will be around 6-10 minutes. We will provide reasonable remuneration for the interviewees. After the interview, you will be assigned as the part-time researcher of I-CEE Center. We will launch courses on other topics, including trade, finance, and accounting. We hope to have more opportunities to collaborate with you in the future.

 

If you are willing to join this project, please fill in the registration form of attachment and reply to us no later than July. 24th. The professor from IBS.BFSU will follow up with you on how to proceed. Hopefully, we can finish this project before this September.
