On June 19th, HUFS JMCE invited Georgios Kartougalos, the Alternative Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece, to host the "Meet the EU" event. 

Prior to the event, Georgios Katrougalos and Greece's Ambassador to Korea, Ifigenia Kontoleontos, talked about the educational field between Korea and Greece at the meeting with In Chul Kim, the president of HUFS.

At the Meet the EU event, Georgios Kartougalos, the Alternative Minister, gave a lecture. Under the theme "The Future of Europe- A Greek Perspective", it covered the overall status of the EU as well as the situation and role of Greece and future directions of development.

European Union and Greek department's professors and students attended and various questions and answers were given to Greece's political and social situations after the lecture.
