On September 17, MOU was signed between the HUFS and Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Latvia at the main building of the HUFS.

The MOU was designed to promote mutual academic and cultural exchange between HUFS and Latvia, one of the EU member states.

  The MOU signing ceremony was attended by Peteris Vaivars, H.E. Ambassador of the Republic of Latvia to South Korea, Hyun-taek KIM, the Vice President of External Affairs and Development of HUFS, Director Si-hong KIM and Nicholas Burge, Head of Trade and Economy Section in the EU delegation.

 It is expected that the MoU will strengthen academic exchanges and cooperations in the field of education, research between higher education and research institutions of Latvia and HUFS.
