Extension of Thesis Submission Period

 

     By the regulation of HUFS Graduate School, MA course students whose completion date has passed 5 years and PhD course students whose completion date has passed 10 years cannot submit their graduation thesis because they are regarded as "permanent completion students". However, if students submit the required documents to Graduate School office 3 months before the date of permanent completion, they can extend the period of thesis submission at most 2 years(MA course) or 3 years(PhD course).

 

 

1. Subjects of application : Those who will be permanent completion students as of 2018 August

2. Application period : June 4(Mon) ~ 8(Fri)

※Students should submit the documents within the above period.

3. Required documents : Confirmation letter from advisor(지도교수확인서)

    (Form : Attached.)

4. Amount of Registration Fee : 50% of regular tuition fee

   *Period of payment : on the semester of thesis submission. When students submit the application form of registration, GS office will give you the bill of registration.

5. Deadline of Thesis Submission

  MA course : within 2 years / PhD course : within 3 years

 

6. Preliminary requirements

   A. PhD course : Pass Thesis Guidance I, Thesis Guidance II, Foreign Language Exam, Comprehensive Exam, online e-learning of research ethics.

   B. MA course : Pass Thesis Guidance I, Foreign Language Exam, Comprehensive Exam, online e-learning of research ethics.
