The Presidential Council on Nation Branding (PCNB) invites
international and Korean students to join the Korean International Student Forum
(KISF). It will provide an opportunity to expand dialogue with the international
student community.
1. 53 members will be selected (the number of Korean
students may be limited)
2. Application Deadline: 17/Sep/2009 (Thursday)
3. Eligibility
- Those who have enthusiasm, creativity
and leadership
- Those who have experiences in organizing international
student forums will be preferred, although not required.
- Korean students
with overseas academic experiences will be preferred.
* Foreign students
should be able to stay in Korea at least until August 2010 to successfully
complete the Forum activities.
4. Activity Period: October 2009~August 2010 (Orientation is
scheduled on 29th September, and the first General Assembly is planned on 10th
October)
5. Activities:
- Advise the Presidential Council on
Nation Branding on its work
- Attend the regular Plenary Meetings held on
every three months
- Participate in the Group Meetings and activities
(The
members of the KISF will be assigned to different groups. Each group will
coordinate and execute a project concerning Korea’s national brand or the
international student community. After the process of review and approval by the
PCNB, part of the budget will be provided.)

대통령직속 기구인 국가브랜드위원회는 국내 거주 외국인 유학생들의 목소리에 귀를 기울이고, 유학생들의 자유로운 의견개진의 장을
마련하고자 외국인 유학생 포럼을 기획하게 되었습니다.
2009년 2학기부터 함께 활동할 KISF 1기를 모집하오니
대한민국을 사랑하는 외국인 유학생들과 한국 학생들의 많은 지원 바랍니다.
1. 모집인원 : 53명
2. 모집기간 : 2009년 9월 11일(금) ~ 9월 17일(목)까지
3. 지원자격
- 창의력과 리더십이 있으며 책임감 있는 외국인 유학생 또는 한국학생
- 외국인학생의 경우 2010년 8월,
혹은 그 이후까지 한국에서 유학 예정인 자
- 유사 유학생기구 유 경험자 우대 (한국-외국인 유학생 포럼, 회의체, 학생회 등)

한국학생의 경우 해외 유 경험자 우대 (해외 어학연수, 교환학생, 유학 등)
4. 활동기간 : 2009년 10월 ~ 2010년 8월

실행합니다. 프로젝트 예산은 심의를 거쳐 국가브랜드위원회에서 일부 지원받을 수 있습니다.
