Customizable Learning Experience
Tailor-Made Classes: One-day class content can be adjusted to suit participant
schedules and needs. • Shortest Sessions (2-3hours)*: Arrive to find the rice already cooking. You’ll focus on cooling the rice, mixing it with nuruk and water, and you’ll take home your own brew to complete the fermentation process after 10-14
days.

• **Extended Sessions (a two-day course, 3hrs each)****: For these classes, we dive into the iyangju recipe—an extended two-step fermentation process. Master the technique of adding freshly-cooked rice to a pre-fermented brew and discover how different rice-cooking methods impact the final taste.
The second day, usually two weeks later, is dedicated to filtering and bottling your finished makgeolli.
