HUFS JMCE participated in the Asia Pacific EU Centre Conference, held at Kyushu University in Japan, from

February 10 to 12. At the Conference consisting graduate level presentations and expert workshops, JMCE Deputy

Director, Professor KIM Bong Chul presented on the subject of <The Diamond Jubilee of the Treaty of Rome: Legal

Implication to the East Asian Regional Agreements>and GSIAS students RYU Ju Hye (PhD) and KIM Bo Won

respectively presented on the European Research Area and Energy Interconnection. This event provided

an arena where EU centres and post-graduate students of related academic institutions could connect and

six countries, including Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, Thailand and New Zealand participated. This Conference

has begun in 2009 and has continued for 10 years.
