(사)한국인도학회가 한-남아시아 의회외교포럼(회장: 원혜영 의원)과 한국외국어대학교 인도연구소 HK+사업단과 공동주최로 제47차 정기학술대회를 개최하고자 합니다. “신남방 정책과 인도”라는 주제로 열리는 이번 학술대회는 2017년 신남방 국가들과의 관계 강화를 천명한 후 진행된 국가 정책이 남아시아에 끼친 영향을 살펴보며, 특히 사람·평화·상생번영 공동체라는 핵심 개념이 인도와의 대외 관계 및 경제, 사회, 문화 정책에 반영되는 현황과 전망, 기대사항 등을 논의하는 자리가 될 것입니다. 인도대사관과 신남방 특별위원회에서도 신남방 정책에 대한 기대와 이를 반영하는 정책들을 소개할 예정이며, 경제와 사회, 문화에 대한 발표와 함께 인도 연구의 여러 분야에서 많은 목소리를 담는 토론회가 되기를 바랍니다. 학술대회를 위해 애쓰신 임원님들과 학회원님들께 감사드리며, 인도와 인도학에 관심을 가지신 모든 분이 참석하시는 즐거운 자리가 되기를 바랍니다.

The Korean Society for Indian Studies Inc will hold its 47th Regular Conference, co-hosted by the Parliamentary Diplomacy Forum on South Asia (President: Mr. Hye-young Won) and the HK+ Project, Institute of Indian Studies, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. This Conference, titled "The New Southern Policy and India" will examine the policies related with India following the 2017 announcement focusing on strengthening relationships with South and Southeast Asian nations. Particularly, we will be discussing how the key concepts of People, Peace, Prosperity will relate to the foreign policies, economics, society and culture of India and surrounding nations. The Indian Embassy in Seoul, as well as the Presidential Committee on New Southern Policy will be presenting their policies and forecasts, and we look forward to various voices from economics, society, and culture to be represented in the discussion. We thank the officers and members of our society, and invite all who are interested in India and Indology to join us at the event.

또한 학회장이 국회의원회관 내에 위치하는 관계로 출입을 위해 신분증이 필요합니다. 필히 지참하여 방문증 접수(방문장소 “제2소회의실” 기입)를 부탁드리며, 토요일인 관계로 정문 2층 안내실만 개방하여 혼잡할 수 있음을 알려드립니다.

□ How to get there: Please use exit 6 of the Metro Line 9 National Assembly Station, and enter through the main gate of the National Assembly Complex. If you are driving, you may park either within the complex or in the Dunchi Parking lot. As the Conference venue is within the National Assembly Members’ Office Building, you will need a form of identification. Please bring your identification card for visitor registration, and as it is a Saturday, please be reminded that only the main gate on the 2nd level of the Members’ Office Building will be open and may be crowded.
