After getting admission to our Graduate School, all the international students should apply for student Visa(D-2) before entering Korea.

The process of getting student Visa is like following;

1) To get the certificate of admission and university's business license from Graduate School office.

-You can apply for Visa just with the certificate's number. You can get this number by contacting gsadmin@hufs.ac.kr

-However, if the embassy in your country requires the original copy of certificate, please let us know your name, address with zip code and local phone number in English to gsadmin@hufs.ac.kr . We can send you those documents only if you let us know your current address to get post mail.

2) To visit the Korean embassy in your own country and apply for student Visa.

-Generally, the required documents for getting Visa are "Visa application form", "passport", "a photo in a standard form", "certificate of admission" and "university's business license". You should check if there are other needed documents through the embassy.

*You don't have to take the original copy of certificate of admission because each embassy can find your information through online system by entering the number of your own certificate of admission. (It means that you can apply for student's Visa only if you know the certificate's number.)

*Those who have the upper class Visa to D-2 such as A, E, F, etc. do not have to apply or change their visa to D-2. You need to check if your current Visa can replace student's one.
