Extension of Thesis Submission Period for those who will be expelled on 2018 Feb

 

 

    By the regulation of HUFS Graduate School, students cannot submit their graduation thesis after 5 years(M/A course) or 10 years(Ph.D course) from the course completion. It means that you will be expelled from our Graduate School because you have not completed your thesis within a set period.

    From 2017 spring semester, if you have any unavoidable reason to postpone your thesis submission schedule, you can extend the deadline by 2 years(M/A course) or 3 years(Ph.D course) by submitting any required document.

 

 

1. Subjects : Those who will be expelled on 2018 Feb because of "permanent completion(영구수료)"

 

2. Period of document submission : Dec 4(Mon) ~ Dec 8(Fri), we only accept it within this period just once.

 

 

3. Document : 지도교수확인서(Letter of Advisor, attached)

 

4. Research Registration fee : 50% of tuition fee

*Submit the application form for research registration on the semester you want to get final evaluation and submit graduation thesis.

 

5. Those who extend the deadline must graduate within 2 years(M/A course) or 3 years(Ph.D course), or if not, you will be expelled permanently.

 

 

6. How to submit graduation thesis : After finding the notice on website about Thesis Submission each semester, submit all the required documents on the semester you will be evaluated.

 

7. Qualification to get evaluation of graduation thesis

   1) Ph.D course : complete Thesis Guidance I and II, pass Foreign Language Exam and Comprehensive Exam, and take e-learning about research ethics.

   2) 석사학위과정 : complete Thesis Guidance I, pass Foreign Language Exam and Comprehensive Exam, and take e-learning about research ethics.
