On April 3rd, <A current status of S. Korea-European Economic Co-operation: assessment and prospects> co-sponsored by the Korean society of Contemporary European Studies and HUFS-HRI EU Centre was held in great success in the international conference hall at Minerva Complex and in History building No. 202.

The meeting consisted of three sessions with nine papers in total, dealing with the investment and expansion prospects on Visegrád (four countries in Eastern Europe – Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary, Slovakia), the achievements and challenges of Korea-EU FTA and general discussion on Korea-EU relation. The conference was significant in terms of academic event supported by the association of institution, school, and the media such as the Ministry of Trade, Industry & Energy and Korea Economic Newspaper.
