The 29^th “Meet the EU”

On September 2^nd, Tuesday 2p.m. the 29^th “Meet the EU” lecture was held in BaekNyeon Guan of Global Campus. The special lecture was delivered by Joseph Lecco, the Croatian Chairman of the National Assembly. Mr. Chairman gave a speech named “Croatia – Changes after EU Accession”. He explained what changes have been made after Croatia joined the EU and what were the implications of accession. He also emphasized the consolidation of relationship with Korea. There was a Q&A time after the lecture.

   Yincheol Kim, president of HUFS attended the event, together with, Bohwa Lee, a vice president of HUFS as well as Yukyeong Kim, a chief of HUFS foreign cooperation, HyeokJae Gwon, head of department of Eastern Europe Studies, H.E. Mira Martinec, Croatian Ambassador to Japan and Korea, Hon. Dragica Zgrebec, the vice-speaker of Croatia, Hon. Igor Dragovan, Club president of senators of SDP (Social Democratic Party), and Hon. Davor Božinović, member of the National Assembly friendship association.
