On Nov 8, HUFS JMCE co-hosted a seminar with Keimyung University’s industry-academic cooperation Foundation at the Korea Press Center under the theme of "Global Economic Change and Europe-East Asian Relations." During the first session, which was held as the Export Forum of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy in the morning, Cho Yang-hyun, professor (HUFS), Kwak Chul-won, researcher of KITA and Professor Kim Deuk-kap (Yonsei University) were participating as presenters under the theme of the forum, "Export Strategies to the European Market by Comparing Korea-EU FTA and the EU-Japan EPA."

The afternoon session was a HUFS JMCE session under the theme of "Changing the Global Economy and Interregional Trade Issues." Professor Kang Yoo-duk (HUFS) announced "EU-US economic and trade relations," KIEP researcher Lee Chul-won said, "EU's economic and trade relations on China: EU and China' BRI," and finally professor Kim Bong-chul (HUFS) presented "EU-East Asia Relations and Regional Trade Agreement." Professor Park Kwang-soo of Dongui University, researcher Cho Eun-kyo of the Korea Institute for Industrial Economics and Trade (KIET), and reporter Kim Duk-sik of Maeil Business attended and discussed the EU's recent trade relations with the US and China and the EU's trends in the matters.

Kim Deok-sik, a reporter who attended the forum, conducted a brief interview with participants of the seminar, which was reported in Maeil Business Newspaper along with the news of the seminar.
