<2020학년도 1학기 신입생 비자 관련 안내 사항>

 

 

-등록한 학생 중 현재 외국에 있는 학생의 경우 D2(유학생)비자를 신청해야하고 한국에 오면 외국인 등록증을 신청해야 합니다.

 

-현재 한국에 있고 D4 또는 다른 비자가 있는 경우 학기가 시작하기 전에 D2(유학생)비자로 변경해야 합니다.

 

-개강일 이후 신규 비자 발급 혹은 체류자격변경 신청 시 벌금이 부과되거나 불이익이 있을 수 있음을 알려드립니다.

 

-<예외 경우>

  1) 유학(D-2)비자로 변경하지 않아도 되는 경우

   A계열 : 외교 (A-1) 공무(A-2) 협정(A-3)

   D계열 : 문화예술(D-1) 유학(D-2) 취재(D-5) 종교(D-6) 주재(D-7) 기업투자(D-8) 무역경영(D-9)

   E계열 : 교수(E-1) 회화지도(E-2) 연구(E-3) 기술지도(E-4) 전문직업(E-5) 예술흥행(E-6) 특정활동(E-7)

   F계열 : 방문동거(F-1) 거주(F-2) 동반(F-3) 재외동포(F-4) 영주(F-5) 결혼이민(F-6)

   H계열 : 방문취업(H-2)

   기 타 : 다른 체류자격 소지자 중 유학체류자격 외 활동허가를 받은 자

 

  2) 유학(D-2)비자로 변경이 불가능 한 경우(출국 후 재외공관에서 신규 발급해야함)

비자를 D-2로 변경해야하는 경우

1. 학교에서 학생에게 표준입학허가서 전달

2. 학생이 표준입학허가서 이외에 서류를 준비하여 세종로출입국사무소(서울캠퍼스) 또는 수원출입국사무소(글로벌캠퍼스)에 가서 D-2 비자 신청

한국 이외 국가에서 D-2 비자를 신청하는 경우

 

   학생이 대사관에 제출해야 하는 서류

    1) 표준입학허가서(학교에서 학생에게 전달할 예정)

 

    2) 재정능력입증서류

      - 국내외 은행이 발급한 본인 또는 부모의 예금잔고증명서(2만불)’(6개월 이상 동결)

        *부모의 예금잔고증명서를 제출하는 경우, 한 명의 예금치를 소명하고 2만 불 이상일 것

 

    3) 최종학력 증명서

      - 아포스티유확인 학위 입증서류 또는,

      - 영사확인 학위 입증서류

 

    4) 언어점수(고시 21개국 및 중점관리 5개국 국민에게만 적용)

      - 토픽 4급 이상, 영어트랙의 경우 토플iBT 80, IELTS 5.5점 이상

 

    5) 기타 대사관 요청 서류

      - 신청서, 여권(사본), 사업자등록증, 결핵진단서(결핵 고위험 국가 국민에게만 적용), 가족관계증명서

   중국유학생인 경우, 아래의 서류를 추가로 준비 및 제출

 

    1) 부모 재직증명서

      - 재직증명서(부모 중 1) 및 입출금내역서(3개월치)

      * 재직증명서 소명이 불가할 경우 사업자등록증(사업자 경우)’ 또는 자산증명서로 대체

 

    2) 학신망 학력 증명서

      - 중국고등학교 또는 대학교 졸업의 경우 중국 교육부 운영 학력학위인증센터 발행 학위/인증보고서

        *가오카오 또는 후이가오(후이가오의 경우 졸업장 영사확인 필요)

    

    3) 학업계획서

      - 자유 양식(한국에 왜 공부하고 싶은지, 유학비용은 어떻게 마련할 것인지, 졸업 후 계획이 어떻게 되는지 내용이 포함되어야 함)

한국 도착해서 외국인 등록증 신청 시 준비물

       1) 외국인등록증 신청

          - 통합신청서, 사진(3.5X4.5) 1, 여권 사본(+비자 사본) 2, 등록금납부영수증, 거주지확인서 또는 집계약서, 수수료(3만원)

 

 

 

한국에서 비자를 D-2-2로 변경해야하는 경우 (? D-2-2 )

 

   학생이 출입국에 제출해야 하는 서류

          *서울캠퍼스(세종로출입국사무소) 또는 글로벌캠퍼스(수원출입국사무소)

    1) 표준입학허가서

 

    2) 재정능력입증서류

      - 국내 은행이 발급한 본인의 예금잔고증명서(2만불)’(6개월 이상 동결) 또는 국내 송금 확인서 (2만불)

        *외대 어학당 출신의 경우 1만불

 

    3) 최종학력 증명서 (학교에 제출한 경우 비자 신청을 위해 학교에서 다시 받을 수 있음)

      - 중국고등학교 또는 대학교 졸업의 경우 중국 교육부 운영 학력학위인증센터 발행 학위/인증보고서

      - 중국이외의 국가에서 받은 학위의 경우 영사확인 또는 아포스티유확인

 

    4) 기타 출입국외국인청 요청 서류

      - 비자통합신청서, 여권(사본), 결핵진단서(결핵 고위험 국가 국민에게만 적용), 가족관계증명서, 외국인등록증(소지자에 한함), 등록금납입증명서, 체류지입증서류, 어학연수 출신자(D-4)의 경우 성적 & 출결 증명서, 수수료(13만원)

결핵 고위험 국가 19개국 : 캄보디아, 미얀마, 필리핀, 파키스탄, 방글라데시, 몽골, 인도네시아, 인도, 네팔, 베트남, 태국, 러시아, 말레이시아, 우즈베키스탄, 중국, 스리랑카, 동티모르, 키리키즈스탄, 라오스

 

 

  

 

 

-A student who is living abroad must apply for D-2(International Student) visa and Alien Registration Card after entering Korea.

 

-A student who is living in Korea and holding a D-4 visa other than D-2 must apply for D-2(International Student) visa before the semester begins.

 

-There may be a penalty or a disadvantage in issuing new visas or applying for a change of status after the semester begins.

The school sends the student the Certificate of Admission and the Certificate of Business Registration.

The student visits the Korean Embassy with all required documents to apply for D-2 visa.

Changing to D-2 visa in Korea

 

The school sends the student the Certificate of Admission.

The student visits the Sejong Immigration Office (Seoul Campus) or Suwon Immigration Office (Global Campus) with all required documents to apply for D-2 visa.

 

*Please check yourself for the required documents other than the ones prepared by the school.

 

 

Applying for D-2 visa outside of Korea

 

   The student is required to submit the following to Korean Embassy in your country:

 

    1) Certificate of Admission (offered to the student by the school)

 

    2) Financial statement

      - ‘Certificate of bank balances ($20,000)’ of the account held by the student or his/her parents, issued by a domestic or foreign bank (Consistent for 6 months)

        *In case of submitting the certificate of the parent’s bank account, each parent’s bank account needs to show the balance of at least $20,000.

 

    3) Graduation Certificate

      - Must be confirmed by the Consul or Apostilled

 

    4) Language proficiency test score report (only applicable to citizens of the marked and priority countries)

      - Korean track majors: TOPIK level 4 or above

      - English track majors: iBT TOEFL 80 or above, IELTS 5.5 or above

 

    5) Other documents required by the Embassy

      - Application form, Copy of the passport, Certificate of Business Registration, Tuberculosis Test Results (only citizens from high incidence of Tuberculosis countries), Family relation certificate

 

   Additional required documents for Chinese students

 

    1) Parent’s proof of employment

      - Proof of employment of one parent and 3 months worth of bank statement

      * Can be replaced by ‘Certificate of Business Registration (if a parent runs a business)’ or ‘Certificate of assets’ in special cases

 

    2) Graduation Certificate

      - If the student graduated from a Chinese high school or college, then the Verification Report of China High school Academic Proficiency Test Results is needed

        *GaoKao or HuiKao (HuiKao: Graduation Certificate still must be confirmed by the Consul)

 

    3) Statement of Purpose

      - Free-form (must contain the information on why the student wants to study in Korea, how will the study in Korea be financed, what the student is planning to do after graduation)

   Required documents for applying for Alien Registration Card after arrival in Korea

       1) Applying for Alien Registration Card

          - Application form, 1 Passport photo (3.5X4.5), 2 copies of the passport (+visa), Tuition payment receipt, Confirmation of residence, Fee (total 30,000 KRW)

 

 

Changing to D-2-2 visa in Korea (? D-2-2 )

 

   The student is required to submit the following to the Immigration Office:

    *Sejong-ro Immigration Office (Seoul Campus) or Suwon Immigration Office (Global Campus)

 

    1) Certificate of Admission

 

    2) Financial statement

      - ‘Certificate of bank balances ($20,000)’ of the account held by the student, issued by a domestic bank, or ‘Certificate of wire transfer ($20,000)’

        *Balance of $10,000 needed if the student completed the Korean Language program at HUFS

 

    3) Graduation Certificate (The school is able to give it back to the student for the purpose of applying for a visa if already submitted)

      - If the student graduated from a Chinese high school or college, then the Verification Report of China High school Academic Proficiency Test Results is needed

      - All students who graduated from a school in countries other than China and Korea, the graduation certificate must be confirmed by the Consul or Apostilled

 

    4) Other documents required by the Immigration Office

      - Application form, Copy of the passport, Tuberculosis Test Results (only citizens from high incidence of Tuberculosis countries), Family Relation Certificate, Alien Registration Card (if applicable), Tuition payment receipt, Confirmation of residence, Transcript and Certificate of Attendance issued by the Language school (only applicable to D-4 visa holders), Fee (total 130,000 KRW)
