류용규 교수는 2015년부터 한국외국어대학교 경영대학에 재직하고 있다. 영국 The University of Manchester, Manchester Business School(MBS)에서 경영학 박사학위 취득 후, The University of Hull, Business School, The University of Manchester, MBS 등에서 국제경영 조교수로 근무하였다. 관심 연구분야는 국제전략적 제휴, 다국적기업의 지식이전, 제도와 지역/기업 혁신과 국제화 등이다. 이와 관련한 최근 연구결과는 Journal of International Business Studies, Global Strategy Journal, International Business Review, Long Range Planning, R&D Management, International Marketing Review 등의 국제학술지에 출간되었다.
