Student Council

Hello,

This is the 17th DIS Student President Yejin Lee and Student Vice President Michelle Yaeri Kang. The student council we represent is called "Palette," in line with our goal of "painting a future for DIS with our colors."

The definition of a palette not only encompasses its purpose as a tool for containing colors, but also its potential to give rise to a uniquely ravishing work of art. We envision that work of art to embody all our shades of hopes and aspirations.

Our “Palette Pledges” are in line with our department acronym, D.I.S. “D” stands for “discuss,” where we focus on items that call for discussion with the rest of the student body. “I” stands for “Interact,” where we hope to foster an environment for increased channels of exchange. “S” stands for “Share,” and this is where we promise our transparency to the rest of our DIS student body.

We promise you our very best in fulfilling our pledges and ensuring that your given rights as a DIS student are secured.

"Palette" will paint a community you can be proud of, one characterized by active academic and cultural exchanges among the colorful people in our department.

With you on board, our palette is complete.

And in front of us is a canvas ready for you to make your mark.

So if you'd like to add your hue to DIS' Palette, please pick up your brush and join us.

Thank you.
