Seoul Campus

GlobeeDorm is a dormitory for students attending Seoul Campus, and was set up to make campus life more convenient and help improve the global capabilities of the students. About 700 people are living in GlobeeDorm, with the 5th floor through the 12th floor being designated as an English-language-only zone.


Application and more

1. Application period: For 1st semester: sophomores through seniors: early December - end of December; freshmen:
late January early February
For 2nd semester (early June end of June)
For summer and winter vacations: 1 month before vacation starts


2. How to apply:

a. Undergraduates: [online selection] HUFS Homepage → MYPAGE → login → general information → second dormitory → click to apply

b. Graduate Students: [document-based selection] submit an application and academic transcript (for the immediately preceding semester)



3. Number of students selected: 662

4. Announcement of successful applicants: individuals should check out the notice on the GlobeeDorm
website (for the 1st semester: mid-January; for the 2nd semester: mid-July)



5. Reminders

a. Application is available only on the internet

b. Those who have no photo registered in General Information System should register one at One-Stop Service Center on the ground floor of the Faculty Office Building II before making an application.

c. Please note that if anyone is caught trying to enter the dormitory in a dishonest way (i.e., using forged documents or by entering under another student’s name), he or she cannot apply for the dormitory while attending HUFS, and the administration will ask the student's college to appropriately punish the student for their actions.

Global Campus

The second dormitory, which opened in the second semester of 2011, is for the students attending the Global Campus. It is designed to offer a convenient study environment and a cooperative group life; and it is home to a total of 1,730 students based on rooms for two people (doubles).


Application and more

1. Application period: For 1st semester: sophomores through seniors: early December - end of December;
freshmen: late January - early February,
For 2nd semester: early June - end of June
For summer and winter vacations: 1 month before vacation starts

2. How to apply:

b. Graduate Students: [document-based selection] submit an application and academic transcript (for the immediately preceding semester)

4. Announcement of successful applicants: individuals should check out the notice on the second dormitory website

a. Application is available only through the website for undergraduates and through document submission for graduate students.

b. Please note that if anyone is caught trying to enter the dormitory in a dishonest way (i.e., using forged documents or by entering under another student’s name), he or she cannot apply for the dormitory while attending HUFS, and the administration will ask the student's college to appropriately punish the student for their actions.

c. Additional selection: to individually notify other applicants, in the order of priority, in case there  are disqualified applicants or those who stop applying for entrance
