Korean Education as a Foreign Language

KFL(Division of Korean as a Foreign Language) consists of two departments: "Korean Education as a Foreign Language" and "Korean Interpretation and Translation as a Foreign Language" We educate foreign students about Korean language education, Korean culture and Korean translation and interpretation as specialties. We aim to cultivate talented people with expertise in Korean culture research and interpretation and translation as well as Korean language teachers. Through this, we hope that foreign language students who entered KFL will educate their students in specialized Korean language and Korean culture based on their native language.

Korean Education as a Foreign Language It is a Korean language education major for foreigners, and will train local Korean language teachers to work overseas. Through professional education on Korean language and culture, the school aims to foster systematic training of high-quality foreign Korean language teachers.

Korean Interpretation & Translation as a Foreign Language Based on Korean language skills, it will train interpretation and translation skills of foreigners, overseas Koreans and multicultural children. Through advanced education, it will discover and nurture talented translators who specialize in Korean translation. It aims to provide systematic Korean language and culture education programs for foreign and overseas Koreans.
