GAT(Give and Take) Program

 한국외국어대학교 국제교류처와 그 산하 국제학생회(ISO)에서 제공하는 GAT 프로그램은

매년 200~250명의 학생이 등록하는 한국학생과 국제학생을 위한 1대1 언어교환 프로그램입니다. 

 이 프로그램을 통해 학생들의 언어와 문화 교류를 추진하며, 

한국외국어대학교(HUFS)의 세계화를 실현하고자 합니다. 

 이러한 목표를 가지고, GAT 팀의 구성원들은 한국학생들과 외국 유학생들의 언어 능력을 향상시키고 

잊지 못할 추억을 만들기 위한 소통의 장을 제공하는데 전념하고 있습니다.

 한 학기 동안 GAT 프로그램에는 

Orientation, GAT Midway check 1, GAT Midway check 2, Farewell Ceremony 총 4개의 공식행사가 있습니다. 

 한국을 방문하는 교환학생들은 한국인 페어와 함께 공부하며, 한국어를 더 쉽게 배울 수 있습니다. 

 또한 한국 학생들은 다양한 언어를 배울 수 있고 다른 나라의 다양한 문화에 대한 이해를 높일 수 있습니다. 

각 학생들은 서로의 페어들과 언어 및 문화를 교류하며 세계적으로 유능한 인재가 될 것입니다.

 학기 중 가장 활발한 GAT 페어는 'BEST GAT PAIR'가 될 수 있으며, 공식 행사에 열정적으로 참가한 참가자들은 

한국외국어대학교의 국제교류처가 발행한 'GAT Program Certificate'를 받게 됩니다.

 The GAT Program provided by the HUFS International Affair Team and International Student Organisation (ISO). 

Is a 1 on 1 language exchange program for Korean and International students where 200 to 250 students register. 

 This program is to fulfill the globalization in Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS) through the language and cultural exchange of the students. 

 With these goals, the members of the GAT Team are committed to provide a platform for both foreign exchange and local students to improve their language skills and create an unforgettable memories together.

 There are 4 official events during one semester: Orientation, GAT Midway check 1, GAT Midway check 2, and a Farewell Ceremony. 

 The international exchange students who visit Korea can learn the Korean language in a more easy way with their Korean pair, also the Korean students will be able to learn various languages and increase the understanding of other cultures. 

Thus becoming a globally competent student through various experiences with their pair.

 The most active GAT pair during the semester can be ‘The Best GAT pair’ and passionate participants who have joined in the official events will receive the ‘GAT Program Certificate’ issued by the HUFS International Affair Team.
