List of Documents by Visa

1. Alien Registration (Returning or New incoming student without card)

   1. An application form

   2. A copy of Passport (personal information & visa page)

   3. A color photograph (white background , 3.5*4.5CM)

   4. Certificate of enrollment

   5. A power of attorney (only necessary when applying through visa agency service)

   6. A copy of lease contract （If the contract period on the real estate contract has expired, rewrite the real estate contract or submit additional water tax or electricity payment receipts)

     - If you live in a property contracted in the name of a friend : A copy of lease contract + Residence confirmation with a friend’s name signed + A copy of your friend’s ID card.(both front and back page)

     - If you live in dormitory : Residence confirmation from the manager of Dormitory

     - If you live in accommodation : A copy of lease contract + business license + monthly rent receipt

2. Extension of Sojourn Period for D-2

  (Visa extension in Korea before expiration of alien registration card)

   6. A power of attorney (only necessary when applying through visa agency service)

   7. A copy of lease contract （If the contract period on the real estate contract has expired, rewrite the real estate contract or submit additional water tax or electricity payment receipts)

     - If you live in a property contracted in the name of a friend : A copy of lease contract + Residence confirmation with a friend’s name signed + A copy of your friend’s ID card.(both front and back page)

3. Change of Status of Sojourn for D-2

  (Transfer student from another university or Korean Language center student from D4 to D2)

   1. An application form

   2. A copy of Passport (personal information page)

   3. An alien registration card

   4. A color photograph (white background, 3.5*4.5CM)

      - Submit photo that is different from alien registration card.

        if the alien registration card has been issued within the last 6 months, the existing photo can be submitted.

   5. A standardized acceptance letter

   6. A doc of final level of education

   7. A doc of high school transcripts (only Vietnamese)

   8. A doc of bank account balance (over $20,000)

      - Korean Language center → Undergraduate : 24,000,000won

      - Undergraduate → Graduate : Same university : 12,000,000won / Other university : 24,000,000won

   9. Certificate of enrollment or completion by language school

   10. A transcript by language school (attendance late)

   11. A power of attorney (only necessary when applying through visa agency service)

   12. A copy of lease contract （If the contract period on the real estate contract has expired, rewrite the real estate contract or submit additional water tax or electricity payment receipts)

     - If you live in a property contracted in the name of a friend : A copy of lease contract + Residence confirmation with a friend’s name signed + A copy of your friend’s ID card.(both front and back page)

     - If you live in dormitory : Residence confirmation from the manager of Dormitory

   13. A statement of reasons (NOT needed by all)

      - Those with less than 70% attendance rate on the Korea language school

      - Those with less than 2.0 in your transcript on the university
