♣   한    글
(HanGeul :
 Korean alphabet)

HanGul (The Korean alphabet) was invented in 1446 by the King SeJong
and a group of scholars who were working under him.
Even though the  HanGul was logical and easy to use, it took a while to be
popularized because we  had used the Chinese characters for hundreds
 of years.
And it is not odd that we have been using a number of Chinese loan words
 until now.

Basically, HanGeul has 10 vowels and 14 consonants. And there are
5 double consonants which were made by writing some of consonants
twice, and  11 combined vowels which were made by combining two or
 three single vowels.

♣  기본 모음
(Basic vowels)

 Basic Vowels : Each vowel was made as a combination ‘ . ’, ‘ ’, and
 ‘ ’ which  represent   ‘heaven’,‘ earth’and‘ person’respectively.

There are basic vowels like below.
