Welcome to the TESOL Department:The only MA and PhD programs in TESOL based on the combination of ELT and MALL curriculum in the world!

As the pinnacle of foreign language education, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS) provides diverse opportunities to learn variety of languages in order to educate and produce professionals with global alertness. The TESOL Dept. in the Graduate School is the only graduate school in Korea that specializes in training English educators with integrated TESOL and MALL curriculum in the era of digital technology and globalization. With the faculty comprised of leading professionals in TESOL and MALL and top-quality research environment, the TESOL Department will assist you in becoming a professional English educator with in-depth knowledge and practical experiences in the fields of TESOL and MALL. So far, the Department has produced dozens of outstanding professors, full-time lectures, teachers, and researchers who are working in the universities/colleges/schools/institutions.The Department would like to challenge you to take a part in the new paradigm of English education needed by the current global society.
