Program Requirements

All students must complete and pass four core courses, nine elective courses, the comprehensive exams, and either a portfolio or a thesis in order to be eligible to graduate. Click on the titles below or the images to the right side for more information.

Core Courses:These are mandatory courses that students must take in order to graduate. All students must complete four core courses in their first year (2 each semester), though the required courses differ slightly depending on which department the student belongs to.

Elective Courses: These are optional courses that students may take in order to complete their credit allotment. Please note that some elective courses have a prerequisite, meaning that students should take a particular optional course before continuing on and taking its sister course.
