Time Limits for Study Period and Academic Period

  Study Period Academic Period Note
Master’s Degree 2 years (4 semesters) 3 years (6 semesters) Academic Period refers to the maximum length of time that a graduate work must be completed. If the required credit hours for the completion of the coursework are not completed within the Academic Period, graduate students may be academically dismissed from the program.
Doctoral Degree Over 2 years (Over 4 semesters) Over 3 years (Over 6 semesters)
