Registration for courses takes place in early March for Spring and early September for Fall. Adding or dropping courses is allowed during the first two weeks of each semester.
During the welcoming orientation, you will get information on how to register for courses (2nd round) and meet with our exchange program coordinator to aid in your course scheduling.
Get your HUFS ID & Password for logging in to the HUFS Student Portal
Your HUFS ID and Password for our university system will be given to you through our online application system page as soon as you have successfully gained admission.
A. Log in to our online application page using application ID given by your coordinator--- GO
B. Go to the menu "HUFS Registration Status".
There are two ways for you to register for courses at HUFS.
1) How to Use our Online registration system
A. Get your regular HUFS ID & password.
B. Log in to the online course registration system within the given period.
Before logging in to the system, you need to list all of the courses you have selected and have them printed out so that you can quickly complete your course selection!
* First Round (Before you arrive): Spring semester: Mid February / Fall semester: Mid August

* Second Round / Course Drop & Add (After you arrive): First week of each semester.
※ Please note that this online course registration system will open only on the following dates & time. If you try to access to our registration system beyond the application periods, you may see an error page.
C. Check whether your courses have been successfully registered here:
1) Before you arrive: Online Application System >> HUFS Registration Status-------- GO
2) After you arrive: HUFS STUDENT PORTAL (Click the icon below)
Please note that a lot of HUFS students will try to access this system at the same time, so you may sometimes fail to log in as the system may be overloaded with registering students. Please be patient!! And you may find some courses unavailable or already full because the courses may be restricted and not available for online registration.
2) Class Registration Approval Form
If you are unable to register for classes using our online registration system, you can use the class registration approval form, which will be posted on our web-based bulletin board. You should fill out the form, attend classes you would like to enroll in, see the professor for signed approval to register for that course during the first week of the semester, and return the completed form to our exchange program coordinator as soon as possible.
Carefully Plan your courses and Attend classes
As you need to attend your desired courses from the first week of each semester, you need to carefully plan your courses at least one week before regular semester starts. If you have picked courses, please check in which building the courses take place. The classroom information can be found on the syllabus, which you can download from our course list.
