HUFS launched the 15th Global Trading Experts Incubating Program (GTEP, Director Bak Jae-Seung) team.
The 15th HUFS GTEP team has attended the online lectures and real-time training of the KITA World Trade Academy from January 1, 2021 (Fri.), completing 50 hours of basic trade training and e-commerce training. The training was led by the Academy’s leading education experts, Professor Ahn Hyun-Gi, Lecturer Kim Jeong-Han, and Professor Yoo Jae-Gul. In particular, empowered by the e-commerce training, the 15th GTEP team is preparing to join the Korean GTEP E-Commerce Contest scheduled for November 2021.
GTEP is a program sponsored by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and run by Korea International Trade Association (KITA). During the 15-month program, students take more than 480 hours of international trade training, on-site practicum in partnership with small- and medium-sized companies, trade fair participation, e-commerce training, and online international marketing practicum. With a special focus on the four regions of Asia, North America, Europe, and Latin America, HUFS GTEP aims to cultivate trading professionals armed with strong regional knowledge as well as trade theories and practical trading skills.
GTEP Director Bak said, “I hope that this year’s GTEP team will whole-heartedly complete our various international trade training courses and grow into top-tier trading talents in the era of globalization.”
