The HUFS Human Rights Center (Director Park Hee-Ho, Law School) was selected as the final candidate for the 2023 University Human Rights Center Expansion Support Project operated by the Ministry of Education. The project selects 10 universities across the country, divided into three regions. Each selected university receives a budget of KRW 80 million to support and expand their human rights center.

 

Initiated in compliance with the amended Higher Education Act that requires the installation of a human rights center at each university, the project aims to discover and support exemplary cases from advanced universities that can serve as role models for promoting awareness on human rights. HUFS will actively participate in this project through emphasizing interactive programs to engage and encourage all members to actively contribute to enhancing human rights consciousness.
