On July 17, 2023 (Monday), Kim Deok-Sool (Japanese, entry class of ’81) visited HUFS to meet with HUFS President Park Jeong-Woon and pledged to donate KRW 300 million to the HUFS Development Fund.

 

President Kim not only donated KRW 100 million twice, in 2017 for HUFS’s Smart Library construction and in 2018 to the HUFS Development Fund, but has also demonstrated his love for his alma mater with his contributions to his department and the HUFS community. So far, he has donated more than KRW 500 million to further the advancement of HUFS.

 

During the visit, he said, “I want to live a life of continuously contributing to somewhere for someone and create opportunities for sharing with many others. I hope my donation commitment supports HUFS’s journey toward becoming a world-class academic institution that produces exceptional global leaders.”
